Judgement = Anti-Christ?

December 14, 2008 at 11:10 pm (Uncategorized)

I’m glad I can use this blog as a way to vent my thoughts, it’s transparent, anybody can read it and I don’t care if the agree or not. Freedom of speech.

Do you ever get tired of the judgemental attitudes you find everywhere you look, or even find yourself judging someone because of first impressions or habit or because of the way you were brought up to think? My heart aches for the poor souls that you and me have killed, they weren’t innocent, nobody is. Those <insert weird religion> people are so stupid, how can they believe that stuff?! That guy has AIDS, I better keep away from him. My cousin is gay, I better ignore him, or better yet, ostracize him and have nothing to do with him unless I’m forced into a situation that I can’t get out of. My neighbor is a doctor who performs abortions, I should harass his kids at the playground. My sister’s latest boyfriend drinks heavy duty, I made the right choice when I beat the crap out of him on our back porch. Need I carry on?

God, we need your grace more than ever, to cover our self-righteousness and judgemental spirits and to change us.

    Thanks for sharing, Cory!
    We appreciate your spiritual passion that is reflected in your blog!

    We agree, judgmentalism is so destructive and lethal, yet so ‘acceptable’ by Christians.

    Have you read “The Shack” by William Young?

    Speaks boldly about God’s love & forgiveness…even bolder about not judging others!
    God Bless you!
